Amrath Hotel Bigarre - Maastricht

Had a very good stay during our visit. the location was comfortable, very close to Vrijthof. - the hotel was in a nice quiet area, very close to the city centre and popular attractions like 'the bassin', 'the vrijthof', and 'wijck'.

It was an inexpensive hotel that allowed us to stay the night. The water pressure in the showers was awesome. The view of the river was also very nice.

The double room was two twin beds pushed together.

For a weekend trip super located near the city and old town. Cosy little hotel with style. Very clean. Big room. New bathroom with large shower. Nice service. Breakfast was very good, but one should be able to expect for an extra 17,50 € per person.

Had a room out front facing the street. Since windows still have single glazing, it was a little too loud. Next time, room in the back.

Comfortable bed and quiet room made for a restful stay. The location was convenient for exploring the city. I appreciated the clean and well-decorated room.

Perfect location to explore the city. Safe car park avaliable. 5 minute walk to main square. Hotel overlooks the river and is next to the canal basin.

Cheaper rooms are in the annex next door to the hotel. No tea making facilities

Service and breakfast were very good. Unfortunately, our room did not have a cupboard or storage space, and the bathroom as also the room were really very small.

The breakfast was delicious and the staff were excellent; we enjoyed our stay and plan to return.

Nice personel. Breakfast is brought to the table. The room was clean with a view of the Meuse. Very good location. All sights are within walking distance.

The price for one night was quite high.

This place has friendly staff at check-out and is conveniently located near Market Square for easy walking access.

For 140 euros per night, one would expect: a telephone in the room (to call reception); a mini bar (or at least a refrigerator), working internet (wifi or adsl) and a efficient air cooling system. None of this is available during our stay in Bigarre. Additionally, 3 out of the 5 sockets were not working and the drain in the shower was virtually blocked as a result of which the toilet almost flooded.

The location for Maastricht was particularly good, near the very charming city center, bars / restaurants and the historical centre of beautiful Maastricht. The breakfast was fantastic with a nice historical flavour, bacon and eggs and champagne, and the team was excellent and kept the space fairly clean...

The breakfast here is excellent and the location is convenient, just a 5-minute walk from the city center, making it a great value option and my top pick in the area.

We enjoyed our stay in the roomy apartment with well equipped kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom. One of the bedroom and the bathroom were in a loft. We could see the sky from the bathroom. The view from the windows of living room was also pleasant. There was a washing machine, too. We wished we could stay longer.

We had to ascend many stairs to access our rooms. There was a coffee shop opposite.
